Inkless is great. the way it fades into a thick, grungy song. amazing. not sure why it's called Inkless, though.
in the song, it sounds like he's talking to a lover after a party, who's giving him a ride home, apparently. they way they love is different than everyone else, and they want no one else to know. it's their secret. also, it seems very conflicted, "but drive me home the wrong way" ... "but drive me home the right way" maybe they had an off day, and he just wants to go straight home. on the other hand, when he wants to be driven home the wrong way, he doesn't want to leave her this night, he still wants to have a little more fun.
i've heard something about his song sounding like it's the "recycle bin" for all the ideas of the album that didn't make it into the other songs, as if it was glued together with scraps of other sounds and songs. i DON'T believe this to be true. this song does sound similar to others, but it's very original in alot of ways, the solo sounds like it's going through a transmitter ^^ like one of the 3 solos' in Oceania. not really the sound that Billy makes in his older songs, did Jeff Schroeder actually get to PLAY in the album? wow this is a new one for Corgan. keep it up, we all love it.
the songs general meaning, i believe, is that there are VERY many ways to love. not just 1. or 2. or 10. there's infinitely many. from waving goodbye after a day at the fair; to french kissing, to WHATEVER. i think i'm looking to deeply into it, but that's what i'm here for.
