this song reminds me of where i used to live and spent my younger years, and makes me think back to those times, I think this song is about returning to the place where you spent your childhood, and see how much people have changed hence 'cause everybody grew up so fast, another generation past' and the line 'i never thought that id see him cry, but then it's hard to say goodbye' is obviously the guys leaving after this reunion, and its a very emotional time. and it also analyses how no matter what you've become everyones still the same person 'for all that he became, he never changed that familliar sigh' and finally it showsthat no matter how far you go, your childhood home will always be a part of you 'this place where we grew up will always be the heart and soul of me, a place that sets me free'. thats my interpitation and fav song on new album :)
