I'm really not sure about "no commas speak in the cold" and I'm pretty sure he's not saying "promises are fine for a little while"... so any help will be appreciated

I'm not completely certain, but this is my take:

It's just a cone missed out of line But it’s something that I’m used to Broke bones Blue all the time Yeah, it's something that I'm used to Used to

Now the gasoline is fueling the flames But it’s something I refuse to To give you up, I'm never the same But it's something I’ll get used to

Let’s start at the end The words beginning to bend Come speak in the cold

Cops follow me on the lines Mumble, "Son, please get me home now Get me...

thank you, spookywithdrawn. i took most of your suggestions.

i'm still not sure about "come speak in the cold" (doesn't it sound like he's saying something else there, before it?), but i changed it anyway... because it made more sense than what i had.

i like the "promises are fine for a while 'til they're something that i'm used to" part... and it makes more sense to me now :)
