I think you guys need to watch the music video to this song and pay attention to the visual symbols riddled throughout the video... I think it is pretty obvious that this is an attack on the church... or maybe someone specifically he knew in the church (his grandpa who he spoke about with his sexual addictions including sadomasochism)...... Then listen to the lyrics again while you watch the video...."I'm weak, 7 days, I'm weak" ..... Don't christians use church as there "drug" to keep them from their weaknesses? So 7 days without church and this guy is deep into his weakness... In this video is was love of women, and sex, and murder..... Look on the table in the video.... Only things on the table are break and blood (the body and blood of christ just like in communion)... The man in the video is trying to recreate a communion surrounded by his weakness (these women he is lusting after and wanting to kill).... They are all hesitant to take it.... Then they do and he kills them anyway..... "Don't bother running I won't bother counting 1, 2, 3" (three is the holy trinity).... "I don't know which me I love" many people in church lead two lives because they can't give up their weakness so they just battle it all of the time through the weak until they can get back to church and get their "fix"..... And him not having any reflection means he is not reflecting on his christian beliefs when he does the things he does with these women in the video..... This of course is probably supposed to pertain to all hypocritical church members who live double lives to keep up appearances (not just rapists,sexual predators, murderers, and what not)..... As we all know Marilyn Manson has issues with the church (who can blame him).... I am pretty sure that is what this song is about.... The double lives of christians and their weaknesses that they hide from those in church.... "Crushing, cheating, changing, am I deaf or dead" is the opening line.... Christians question themselves about their double lives because of their guilt (I know because I used to do the same thing when I was a christian about my homosexuality, but then I grew up and realized the church was wrong).... This man wants to know is he deaf or just dead to the message being preached to him every sunday, because it's not helping him with his addiction...." Is this constricting construction or just a road with rusty signs of violence to come"... He is referring to the archaic teachings of the church being rusty signs because they are old and out of date and no longer helpful for life today, and he is questioning if the church's teachings are just meant to constrict your life to the point that the weakness dies inside you, or just old out of date signs, and stories letting you know that the weakness is just under the surface waiting to violently erupt once you've constricted it too long and you can't keep it inside anymore....
