It seems many lyric sites have these lyrics wrong when compared to the actual booklet the Periphery album comes with. Specifically, where it says "Stuck down in the bottom of your cylindrical state of mind" should be "Stuck down at the bottom of the orange cylindrical state of mind." I believe the song has a centering theme of abusing prescription pills and the effects they have when doing so. Hence, "orange cylindrical state of mind" is referencing the containers which prescription pills generally come in.
