I have to say, this is a long shot , but after reading both of your opinions, I can say that both are true.
This is coming from an ex acid-head and I loved to listen to IM whilst tripping,
As said by 'MoonWolfHowl' You can feel the energy of the sounds that infected use in all of their songs...a reference to an addiction makes alot of sense but
without a doubt it is about a relationship WITH A PERSON
I think that infected has 'stories' in a few songs, mainly (Legend of the black shwarma album) it is sometimes a message that only the 'tripper' can understand or feel...as i said, it's a long shot and we all know that acid screws with your head..
Once I listened to Infected whilst on acid, It never sounded the same again, amazing group.
