I believe this is the song for a new (or maybe not so new) TV series. I love the sound of it. Reminds me of some of the music from the Foggy Bottom Boys CD. The Bible and prayer are not apparently enough, so the singer wants to go to the river for a good ol' fashioned baptism. S/he has sinned and feels the need to cleanse her soul. Like the lyrics, but especially love the music (for lack of a better word). Man, I suck at interpretations...
