that being said, this song is just him being angry for how he's never been truly happy and never truly satisfied with his life because he always thinks about how he and Nina's relationship and his personal life could be better. Maybe because of his indie fame he thinks he is now a cartoon of himself, which I guess he really kind of is.
This song has some of the best lyrical work this side of the 70s, definitely the highlight of the album and maybe of his career.
