With the rest of it almost as an after thought. Almost as if he considered just out right telling us that the girl in question is more than a little "selective," but then thinks better of it and instead decides to suggest that shes just well educated. Jim was all about word play. Don't know, to me it seems like the kind of thing he'd do. :P
