This song's obviously about the whole 'Farros leaving Paramore' drama, but I've recently started thinking it was written in Josh's point of view. (And he's been given a positive viewpoint by Hayley, for that matter.)
In that whole situation, Josh was the one angriest with Hayley and the band, so having read the definition of a 'renegade', I consider him to be that, rather than Hayley.
