The first guy sees clearly that without salvation the other will fall and won't go to heaven, he tries to share this vision, but the other doesn't have the eyes to see.
He doesn't want the other person to fall, but slowly realises that he himself cannot shed enough light for him to understand.

Ironically, the truth needed to be saved WILL be revealed when it's already too late. Not listening right now would be suicide, like just stopping your heart from beating, or holding your breath untill death.
Now I don't know wether the word father here should be written with a capital F or not, but either way, his stubborn belief in his own self-constructions, once again, keeps him from understanding. Feeding himself with these sweet lies will become his demise, and in a last ditch attempt the christian shows him the inconvenient, harsh future that is for him to bear:

The first period of time in hell, will there ever be an end? Desperation that awaits him, never to end.

This song's lyrics are VERY radical. True, but harsh. This portrays the pain that every christian experiencing. The knowledge of what is to come, seeing their demise, yet them not listening to you.
You want to help them, and save them from this fate, but they do not want to. They do not see because they do not know, and they do not know because they will not see. It's a vicious circle, that can only be broken by God himself. God himself must touch the heart of man to make him see, because we are to stubborn to accept the truth ourselves. Which is probably what's gonna happen in the comments to this comment :(
