Well a major power metal component is basing songs on a fantastical world (like something from world of warcraft or lord of the rings). Dragonforce and Rhapsody of Fire are the most notable power metal bands who do this. So, many of power metal songs, despite their beautiful, epic, melodies don't actually have deep meaning simply because their based on a storyline linked to a world that doesn't exist. I think this song might be one of them.
