Ever since I first came across this particular song, it has been on my top songs list. It is about taking chances, not just surrendering to a life that doesn't inspire or fulfill us. About doing what we want the most and freeing ourselves from the pressures of everyday-life once in a while. Routine can be rather suffocating sometimes, especially when you're not doing what you love. For instance, working at a place you'd rather not, be in a relationship that's not good enough for you etc.
The thing I like the most in this song is the line: "Some believe in destiny and some believe in fate, but I believe that happiness is something we create." And it is absolutely true. At the end of the day, it is nothing but us and our choices that define who we are, and how our life turns out. You might want to leave everything to fate and luck, but if you don't lift a finger yourself, happiness ain't gonna come your way.
One of the best songs I've ever had the luck to listen to.
