This song is awesome. I think it means that religious people waste so much time praying and hoping for good things to happen that they don't realize that the power lies in their hands the whole time.
I'm personally not sure if i agree with this message because I dabble a lot in theology and believe anything not explicitly known is possible, but its still a good song.
