i interpret the chorus as jim talking to himself....great song bee tee dubbs. definitely first heard this on never been kissed. drew barrymore's pretty boring. can't even remember much of the movie except SPOILER ALERT she gets kissed in the end like at a baseball field or something. correct me if i'm mistaken bc i do believe there's a chance that i might be. haven't watched it in AGES. the song might not even be in the movie so i may be hallucinating or something. love this song though. kinda catchy.
