I think I got the song.
Shirley said "it's a song about disorientation and delusion and the human struggle to stay sane in the face of insanity".
It's about living, staying alive. I think it's a metaphor for when you need to(/is) work(ing) hard in your life, in your job, everything, you're tired, you can't even go play a little with your dog because you're really bad (seriously) - the hard life of a soldier, the isolation suggested can be interpreted in our lives as a psychological isolation we build because we just can't take it -... And like, there are people or something else that keep disturbing you (don't live you alone, in peace, don't let you concentrate), the world is disturbing you - that's the radio -, yet you can't stop! You need to keep on moving!
I'm so glad Garbage is back, I never listened to their songs properly before and now I'm a big fan and bought the new album to support them, it's awesome!
