great song, its the battle of wanting to fit in so you aren't lonely and picked on but not wanting to fit in because you don't like what the "cool" people do and how they act. I'ts just so honest, i think it is both sarcastic and serious, it would be nice not to be picked on but at what cost, if you have to be a dickhead in order to be picked on is it really worth it? it's a battle all people with progressive ideals battle with, there is always times where you just think "fuck it" i give up, it gets hard always being in a fight, but other times you love the fight because you are standing up for something you believe in
