Shane: "This is one of my favorites, and was the last one of all the songs we finished for the album. We literally had the whole record done, and I just decided one day we should try to write a super heavy song–no rules, just completely by feel. There was no worrying about song structure or anything like that. I came up with the intro dissonant-sounding riff, and we decided just to go right into a breakdown. The song came really organically, and it just flows. We got our friend Brendan [Murphy] from the awesome band Counterparts to sing with me and his voice fits perfectly. I actually think his voice inspired some of my performance a bit on this track."
