I could see how someone might take this religiously, but it probably wasn't written to be that way. If you want to think of that when you listen, though, I think that's perfectly fine!
It was most likely meant to be a song about someone you love very dearly who helps bring you back down to Earth when everything is just going crazy. And this person sees you and loves you for who you are, even though others might not do the same, they make you feel wonderful about yourself. I think it's so cute. It could definitely be talking about a relationship (and such a cute one, at that. I wish all relationships were like that, haha), but I like to think of it in a friendship kind of way. This whole album is pretty much about love, and the songs are all very cute. I'm not in a relationship, though, so when I listen, I think about a certain friend of mine who, when I'm crying and stressing out all the time and everything's just spinning around me and I feel lost a lot - etc etc etc, I look for her, and she always calms me down and helps me look at things clearly. She helps me to breathe and she loves me for who I am and that makes me so happy. I adore this song, really. It has a lot of memories attached to it for me :)
