The first portion of makes me feel sad for Tim almost disconsolate in fact. There's a sense that the years of hard work over the last three decades have largely been unrecognised 'where's our bling'. Then there's 'where's the song to end my suffering' - suggesting that he hasn't yet written the song that will, in his opinion, be popular enough to get the adulation of a wider audience. He is conscious that his fans think the world of him 'you call me king' but this doesn't seem quite enough.
I can't say I disagree that James are underrated, they don't get the radio play etc But feel uncomfortable that they feel they haven't done enough. Great song though, good album too.
