The Age of Worry Lyrics

I can see this song as a commencement speech for graduating college students. I have always listened to the song in the context of "know your fight is not within". In these terms it's the understanding of where your problem truly lies. There will be times where you will be in such a despair, you will think you have lost yourself. But as John says, it's not necessarily that you are the problem, but the timing of everything. You will be burned and burn others as life progresses. You can dream, however make sure you live your life too and not have your goals and fantasies just be in your head.

I love the lines "give your heart then change your mind, you're allowed to do it", especially the emphasis in his punching of the words. We shouldn't feel guilty for growing towards different directions from our partners. I think of two things when I hear this line. first, it's his acceptance of his parents divorce. Of course he is devastated that they have split up, but he understands that people change and as they change so do their needs/ values. He is acting very mature. Second, I think of this song as a continuation of the main ideology of "Wheel". Life goes in full circle and this age of worry will pass too. We just keep on moving along in life and this moment of worry is just that; a moment. We will get past this.

actually he sings "Know your time is not with them, yours is with your time here". So it says on the booklet. Nevertheless good interpretation..
