God, this song is killer. Lyrical genius (usually I use that term sarcastically, but I'm not here). It's deep and raw and almost heart-wrenching. I can't get enough of it.
SK6ers has a common theme of "trying hard to make it, and not quite making it, but it's still sort of okay". This song has some of that with a touch of "reality bites".
I don't know the significance of being "born in the spring". Having a higher degree of optimism? Being better at new beginnings? Not having to live through a metaphorical "winter"? I don't know, but I like it.

Doesn't spring represent rebirth/ new beginnings. It's a time of positivity.
