The sound at the beginning reminds me of a respirator.
The whole song reminds me of a man dying... which would certainly qualify for the end of this world and the beginning of a trip to somewhere he's never gone. 'Golden blades, forged with love...' There are ties that bind, and usually it's the loved ones that have cut off life support when nothing else can be done. And it might be all those sunday mornings coming back to me, but I hear it written 'just the grace of One'. The whole song sounds like someone saying their last words. Their regrets at their fallings, misdeeds, and well wishes for the ones they love. But who/what is the 'they'?
