I believe this creative song speaks to the topic of love. It is not easy letting go when one is in love, providing that person is of the committed type (or possibly should-be-committed type:). Sadly, the song may also speak to a person treating love as a game that s/he plays on others...stringing her along while it's convenient. In the end (and there's always an end when games are played), everyone gets hurt. That's love...when not embraced and nurtured.
