Well, I wanted to talk about this one for long. In a classical 1983 Tokyo performance, Mark explains the meaning. It's one of that classical topic: the song about jerks or stupid guys, as the likes of Heavy fuel, Money for nothing, El macho... you know. He imitates the tone of the typical trendy guy who says "let's go twisting by the pool"... the word in spanich is "pijo". A boasty, over trendy guy. The guy who would do the Eurobeat, and yes! be interested on the Inflation and the stock karket, or at least pretend he is. I always thought it was just a simple R&R song, with nothing more to it, but one way or another, every song by MK that sounds too light has something behind. I don't think it has much to do with bother on how people took Telegraph Road, (that BTW is probably their best and an all time classical). I don't see Mark doing a song to specifically show anything: he really gives always proof of doing whatever he feels like doing! Cheers to all!
