I totally agree with lespaulsmith sounds about right! I would only add that it seems to me that the phrase "It's just the bones you're made of" is extremely important to the song. It is accepting the flaws of that "friend" (for a lack of a better term) and still loving that person unconditionally. "Always honey, always near" because he accepts him/her as he/she is.
