Awesome, powerful song about a failing relationship, and the desire of one partner to try and save it by professing how strongly he feels about her, and hoping they can commit to fix the mistakes made that night. Not sure if he is admitting to having broken her wings, and now encourages her, that he will give her the freedom to fly and live her life instead of being stifled.
