Marche Funèbre Lyrics

I always have the image of a person in a cult repeating these words in their head. The leaders are trying to "build walls" to keep this person in but they are the bad weed and bad weeds grow tall; they will escape. "Grow tall skin" meaning to grow thick skin to not believe the lies, perhaps?

Maybe the word "cult" doesn't work here. The Yrasor version has the Catholic rosary in it. Perhaps this person is trying to escape the Pope and his minions? Maybe it's a nun! Ha.

My Interpretation

Stop being an ass. Just as you have freewill to choose to worship yourself; your sexual conquests; your intelligence; your music; your heavy taxation; your idealism; etc....people of faith have freewill to worship someone higher than themselves. And for your information, the Pope is NOT higher than any Catholic. We do not worship him. He is the leader of the church, just as there are leaders of charities; corporations; mom and pop businesses; schools; etc. And for the record, people build their own walls. Unless they are in prison, it's ALL about choice.

Stop being a hypocryte. Just as you have freewill to believe what you want, people have freewill to have an opinion and to share it on a site meant for doing just that. And for your information, I did not say anyone worshiped the Pope. And for the record, if it's ALL about choice, then I should have been allowed to say this without anyone replying with an insult. I could have talked about Joseph Smith, or the Phelps family, or Jim Jones, but the song has the rosary playing BACKWARDS for crying out loud.

You used the words "his minions" which colored your post. I bet you're the life of the party in a crowd of gay black men, or would you keep your prejudice to yourself. For some reason slamming people of faith is acceptable in a world where you tolerant diverity-loving liberals claim to be so accepting. Speaking about a person's faith is no different than speaking about their children. Remember that, please.
