talk about presence - this song has amazing presence. really it is super good from a musical point of view; one of the best songs from the 80's - no doubt in my mind about that. Had edwyn been seeing ghosts? All that river running dry patter at the end really works too, probably referring to the river of creativity, but it matters little. Like the way he is out in the street, unable to sleep, under the harvest moon, with the tune (or whatever) screaming in his ears. what a song!!
