I can't figure the entire meaning but I do have an idea on this one line: "And I'm wasted on this youth" I think it's deriving from the phrase, "youth is wasted on the young" and he doesn't feel like he's qualified to be young, he's not worth it.
Shouldn't he be singing "And this youth is wasted on me" then?
