Love the more straight forward musicality of the song though, it's a nice change of pace for TMV. Definitely one of the more "playable" songs for the radio off this album, hopefully they get some playtime on the rotations.

Taking a stab at it and without breaking down the song line by line, it sounds like they're saying the world is basically an out of control Zoo(Zed and two Naughts), and that neither the world nor the people really aren't worth trying to save, spiritually or otherwise.

He is saying that the world is a Zoo, but he's stating, by alluding to St. Christopher, that the leadership doesn't submit to Jesus' teachings and therefore there is no point in putting faith in them.
