i love this song! Its so subtle and laid back but it sticks in your head! When I heard it i had a pretty immediate thought that it was about Alex Turner. As it says your no poet man you just want everyone lokking at you.... alex turner is often to referred to as a poet in his own right..it makes sense.
But overall I think this song is about not worrying about what other people say and just getting through it. Dont focus on the ones bringing you down, treasure the ones who treasure you, keep them close, and sooner all later all will be forgoten.
