He had a relationship with someone & didn't think it meant much. He left (purposefully or the winds of change just pulled him) & thought he'd be okay; like he didn't think he was emotionally attached to them.

He was wrong. After going out and experiencing life without her, he realized what he had with her was totally awesome & rare. Now he wants a second chance & hoping he gets it.
