Especially the first lines (take you to the power station and let's go and play before they take you down) indicate to this interpretation. The chess computer is a symbol for artificial intelligence, it was a full-value chess opponent, just like a human. I think the song just toys with the idea of considering Deep Blue as a human or of comparing an inhibited person with a computer trying to be human. Of course a computer is unable to cope with feelings and if Deep Blue was human, he would act like the scared person in the lyrics, scared and overwhelmed by feelings, unable to smile an show feelings.
