Goshen is the name of a band from Santa Fe, where Zach Condon grew up. The song is a story about him going to one of their shows with a girl from his high school.

The song has a strange feel if that is what it is about - also, much of the lyrics seem to point something deeper than simply 'going to a show'; perhaps the girl in question is an old friend or perhaps even an old flame so to speak, certainly some sort of deeper relationship than simply an old acquaintance and/or perhaps there's a double meaning being expressed through the song ... but then again I could be reading too much into :).
