@cahoopuk - The song being about drugs would definitely tally with admeans saying he 'can imagine listening back and thinking I must have had a good time'... as opposed to actually remembering it.

I love this song, and thought it was as though the person has faced loads of challenges, but the drug (whatever it is, as I'm pretty sure the next bit doesn't apply to heroin users) has made him come back stronger, able to do pretty much anything (that feeling of invincibility)and people asking the 'who made you the master' part of him; someone who was nothing but all of a sudden seems to have the midas touch.
