When I first purchased this CD, I loaded it onto my iPod and would listen in the car while going wherever. The first time I paid attention to the words to this song I was immediately brought to thoughts of my cousin Darren who had committed suicide a few years earlier. He and I were very close but I was unaware of the trouble he was experiencing in life. He did an excellent job of hiding what he was going through. I was wishing that I had known about his situations and that I could have had this song for him to listen to.
This is the part that becomes very powerful for me. It was dark while I was driving home listening to this song. The tears were flowing because of thinking about Darren. My iPod was sitting in the passanger seat, about a minute into the song - the screen lit up on my iPod - all on it's own, I had not touched it. I know my cousin was letting me know that he was there watching over me. At that point I was bawling but yet felt comforted by the fact that he is now my gaurdian angel.
