To me, whenever I listen to it, feel as if this song is deeply touching on the afterlife and going back into your original state of being. Reaching nirvana, heaven, the door in between, whatever you may call it. The title 'Beyond the Invisible' reaffirms this, as well as the lyrics, "It is real and not a dream.. It is time to break the chains of life". If you listen closely to the song, they begin to chant in latin, a characteristic of Enigma's songs, once more touching on the mystical, the afterlife. Although the latin translation seems to be mocking Christian beliefs, if you also look at the music video, you then think that what you originally thought the song to be, isn't what it was.
In the end, the song is touching on the afterlife and how you might in fact be tired of this world, contemplating suicide, wishing to go back to when you were young, live a life without worries, and take the easy way out into darkness...
