Does anyone know why he says "seems" instead of just "seem"? I mean he says seem at first but then for some reason trails the "s" at the end. What's with that?
Its the proper way of writing it. You'd say : "He'd see how unlikely he himself seems" not "He'd see how unlikely he himself seem".
He (God) would see how unlikely he himself (God) seems [to the songwriter].
