WOW! I just realized that the second verse in this song is the scene in "Nausea" by Sartre when Roquentin finally meets up with Anny. Obviously the girl's character is Anny and "he" is Roquentin. I might be spelling that wrong. I guess I don't know if the first verse applies to the book but second part without-a-doubt does. I didn't like that book and the reference is unfortunate:p Still a lovely song though:)
