This has always been my favorite song by AEF. Many, many times, this has been a driving song to pull myself from the gutter, out of a bad situation, and to overcome all that stands in the way. Though the face value of this song sounds dark and brutal, and the music even more dark and brutal, it has been more about the storm of emotions and confusion that often comes with the hard times, and the ending...that's that moment of clarity and streamlined thought before coming back into sync with life. To me, this song is a triumph. It is also a perfect description of the range of emotions that surface through revenge. It's nothing short of perfect in my mind.
