This song has a religious tone to it, for me. The day of judgement is coming, as is for everyone at some point in time. We make our choices and are they the right ones? No one knows for sure. We all have opportunities to do good or bad things and some take the opportunities to do things and some don't they just take the easy way (stay home in bed)

Again, it may have something to do with my upbringing, but he may be talking to the people who are "on the fence" about whether or not God exists. So he could be using the argument I've heard people make over the years, which is, "I'd rather believe in God and find out that He doesn't exist than not believe in God and find out that He does exist." It sounds a little ridiculous but I've heard people say that. That's just my interpretation. For now anyway...
