Speaking as someone who came very close to being a teenage runaway (my friends convinced me to stay at the last moment) this song hits home; the feeling of saying goobye to your closest friends, the fear of being on your own with no one to help you, looking at the pictures of being younger, this song is almost the exact feeling for when i almost left, it even brings back the memory of staring at the "welcome to Avon Lake" sign, almost terified to even step across the train tacks marking the boarder of my town.
