Wow this is a great song! I like to read what you people think of it, your comments were really good. This is what Dead end friends means to me: i find myself thinking about all those people who simple lost their way, not managing to build meaningful life and having no more will for the fight. Sometimes these people are losers, but most of the times they're not. They are friends we had, who we appreciated and thought they'd grow to be a better person than we are. We were hoping things would come easy to them so we could feel like we had a chance of finding our way.
I really like the part "awakens the dead end part of me" because it reminds me that with everything life throws at us, sometimes we feel like just give as well, becoming cynical and stuff. I also love the part "no more wandering" because a friend of mine one said she was not lost, just wandering or something like this. Sometime I find myself wishing I just didn't give a damn, like empathy is the ennemy. Stop searching and get lost entirely in the dark of an endless road.
