So much emotion, so many background meaning. I think everyone could give their interpretation and feel like this song speaks to them.
To me, it's about that one person that you simply can't live without, the one who knows your sins but wants you by their side anyway. And then this person reaches some kind of situation where, despite anger or frustration, you let it know you'll be there no matter what.
