Amor Fati Lyrics

I hear in this song that one person is comforting another who is grieving. "We left, so tired" makes me think they have left a wake or funeral. "Even though he's hard to forgive" might be about trying to forgive a parent who has passed on - even when it is no longer possible. The beginning part that commands "Don't drift too far" makes me think s/he is suggesting not to get too deeply enrapt in grief, but to "let go" and reach out to others instead of being consumed with guilt or grief. That "it's not your fault" lyric could mean lot of things, maybe relating to the part about forgiving later, or maybe its own thing about something else. Self-blame certainly can be connected to grief.

The person is suggesting to the other to follow their instinct (the guiding light, the faith) and that the world still has 'gold' for them ahead, if they can move past this point ("alright in time").

Beautiful song, whatever interpretation. Full of hope and putting the past behind you to follow your inner light.
