"I hate the life I made" => He now sees that his selfishness led him to destroy his life ("cannibal"), so he now has to "got to bring [himself] back from the dead". He wants to quit with this old lifestyle ("break [his] crown") and doesn't want anything to do with that past (the first two lines).
