I sort of think this song is weird and messed up but with this girly happy overtone. Note: the girl is the only one all thrilled about being back with the guy again, the guy says nothing about love or everything going HIS way, it's all about the girl. Just my interpretation, but I love the creepy factor. Maybe the guy can't up and run because she cut his achilles tendon or something. Sort of like the Japanese movie Audition.
