That he has to ask what the body is for seems a nod to celibacy or innocence although he does seem to actively engage with the person in this song. I do not think the chords are related to Joy Division's Atmosphere nor is the theme. (Isn't Atmosphere a foreshadowing of Ian Curtis suicide? A much heavier theme.)
