This song has all the right makings of a great heart-ache ballad, Jason Wades vocals are top notch and the score behind it sets the mood perfectly. He also puts his fear and dread to great use with mastermind songwriting "I am here still waiting / I still have my doubts / I am damaged at best / though you've probably figured it out". It's hard not to get chills as you listen to it. I just wish he didn't suffer from the horrible spoonerism toward the end at the last bridge, when he says "I may have lost my way now" it sounds so much like "I may have lost my wiener". For that it can be difficult to take the song seriously. Still very good though.
